Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Ability to hold a Solicitor’s Permit
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • 8 to 10 years industry experience with several years Field Sales Manager experience
  • Understanding of wine and spirits
  • Results oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, work independently or in a team, pays attention to detail and meets deadlines
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other computer systems including presentation software

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manages team by coaching, performing all evaluations and overseeing performance management plans of Field Sales Managers
  • Ensures adherence to all EMN work rules and corrective action policy standards
  • Participates in the associate interview and selection process, including onboarding
  • Manages sales goal process by collaborating with General Manager and coaching team
  • Evaluates Field Sales Managers’ performance weekly and conducts meetings
  • Assists in planning and development of sales programs
  • Maintains strong customer orientation and relationships with key accounts
  • Achieves division financial plan by managing pricing, budgets, and accounts receivable
  • Ensures training policy compliance and conducts coaching calls and evaluations
  • Communicates company and supplier activities through sales meetings
  • Provides necessary selling tools by collaborating with relevant departments
  • Performs administrative functions including expense approvals and budget management
  • Maintains balanced territories by assigning and reallocating accounts
  • Maintains professional knowledge and customer confidence
  • Ensures workplace safety and compliance with procedures
