Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales
  • demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • valid driver’s license
  • flexibility to travel and work irregular hours
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience in hotel sales and business development
  • strong understanding of hospitality industry and sales systems
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • proficiency with sales management software
  • experience with Marriott or Hilton brand properties preferred
  • leadership experience for director level positions

Job Duties

  • develop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel revenue
  • cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients and travel agencies
  • conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
  • oversee sales team performance and provide training and support
  • coordinate with marketing and event planning teams to promote hotel services
  • manage contract negotiations and close sales deals
  • maintain accurate sales records and prepare reports for management
