Job Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales for sales manager position
  • minimum of 5 years experience with leadership responsibilities for director of sales position
  • working knowledge of hotel brand sales systems
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to travel locally and regionally as needed
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to meet sales targets consistently
  • positive and outgoing personality

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, marketing, or related field preferred
  • proven experience in hotel sales, preferably within Marriott or Hilton branded properties
  • strong negotiation and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • proficiency with hotel sales systems and CRM software
  • excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • demonstrated leadership experience for director level roles

Job Duties

  • develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • build and maintain strong relationships with clients and corporate partners
  • generate new business leads through networking and outreach
  • collaborate with marketing and operations teams to maximize sales opportunities
  • prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
  • represent the hotel at industry events and trade shows
  • manage and mentor sales team members to enhance performance
