Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel on short notice and adaptable to schedule changes
  • Minimum of five years of hotel sales, catering, or marketing experience
  • Minimum two years leadership experience in a full-service hotel
  • Experience in hotel management or related industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform critical analysis

  • Proven ability to manage and lead sales and marketing teams
  • Skilled in creating and executing business strategies and commercial plans
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with critical business analysis
  • Knowledge of Hilton software programs preferred
  • Adaptability to travel on short notice and manage schedule changes
  • Experience in hotel management or related industry
  • Additional coursework in business administration, marketing, or communications is advantageous

Job Duties

  • Design, develop, and deploy innovative sales and marketing business strategies
  • Oversee commercial strategies affecting rooms, catering, events, and marketing revenue streams
  • Produce and implement the Annual Multi-Year Commercial Strategy Plan
  • Manage group rooms, banquets, business transient, and leisure transient revenue strategies
  • Maximize pricing and quotations to maximize positive group market share
  • Lead hotel B2B, digital, social media marketing, and public relations efforts
  • Recruit, lead, and develop sales and marketing team members including performance evaluations
  • Build strong relationships with community partners, travel agencies, and business clients
  • Negotiate contracts and commission agreements, prepare proposals and quotes
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, tradeshows, and in market outside sales activities
  • Support sales and marketing optimization processes and communicate performance analytics regularly
  • Develop and maintain detailed competitor and market activity knowledge
  • Lead the execution of the Sales Incentive Program and departmental budget forecasts
  • Align departmental efforts with Hilton’s brand standards and ESG goals
  • Engage in customer relations and key business partner communications
