Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of hotel sales, catering or marketing experience
  • Management experience as assistant director and/or director
  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • Minimum three years leadership experience in a full service hotel
  • Ability to travel on short notice and adaptable to schedule changes
  • Experience in hotel management or related industry
  • Highly professional oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to perform critical analysis

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in large matrix organizations
  • Ability to speak multiple languages preferred
  • Multiple brand experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Hilton software programs preferred

Job Duties

  • Design, develop, and deploy creative and impactful business strategies for the hotel
  • Lead the hotel Sales and Marketing process including annual multi-year commercial strategy plans
  • Actively book business during preopening phase through site visits, sales calls, and familiarization tours
  • Support B2B marketing, digital marketing, social media, public relations, and communications activities
  • Lead, engage, and develop sales and marketing team members including recruitment and retention
  • Develop and execute departmental budget and forecasts
  • Build and maintain relationships with ownership groups, community influencers, and travel partners
