Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality sales and marketing
  • Prior leadership experience managing multiple departments
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent analytical and forecasting skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Valid work authorization
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Commitment to high standards of guest service
  • Proficiency with digital marketing platforms

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, business administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing leadership within hospitality
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of revenue management and financial budgeting
  • Experience with marketing campaign development
  • Proficiency in managing public relations and media outreach
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Skilled in event planning and execution
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and tools

Job Duties

  • Ensure department policies, procedures, and guidelines are followed
  • Perform necessary administrative duties
  • Anticipate needs, forecast results, and arrange work processes
  • Provide training, motivation, and leadership to Heartists
  • Participate in hiring process and manage departmental staffing
  • Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors
  • Manage efficient office procedures
  • Budget, manage, and forecast departmental expenses
  • Prepare annual budgets
  • Manage PNL and create presentations for ownership
  • Oversee revenue management in line with corporate guidelines
  • Represent hotel at industry conferences and trade shows
  • Network with key organizations such as Chamber of Commerce and Visit Florida
  • Attend daily stand-up, staff, forecast, and executive committee meetings
  • Advise hotel department heads on group requirements
  • Attend out-of-hotel meetings as necessary
  • Conduct daily business reviews and departmental meetings
  • Enforce company policies on grooming and attendance
  • Inspire Heartists as a department leader
  • Conduct site inspections and pre/post conference meetings
  • Lead sales and marketing efforts
  • Create marketing campaigns aligned with Novotel brand
  • Lead PR team to promote hotel via media and influencers
