Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related area of study
  • Three years' experience in hotel sales and marketing management
  • Experience with Hilton systems preferred
  • Ability to work on site
  • Must clear background screening
  • Ability to manage and delegate the sales team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, twist, or lift up to 25lbs throughout shift

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related area of study
  • Three years’ experience in hotel sales and marketing management
  • Experience with Hilton systems preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate a sales team
  • High level of market understanding
  • Outstanding negotiation skills
  • Ability to work cohesively within a team environment

Job Duties

  • Carry out personnel-related duties including interviewing, appraising, coaching, and counseling
  • Develop promotional opportunities to maximize sales revenue through all distribution channels
  • Develop and maintain department budget
  • Submit required reports to General Manager in a timely manner
  • Develop sales action plans and forecast and evaluate trends to modify strategies that enhance revenues
  • Collaborate with revenue team members to lead strategic tactics driving profitable results
  • Review STAR reports and other resources to maintain awareness of the hotel’s market position
  • Facilitate open communication between employees, management, and guests
  • Understand agendas and perspectives of others to establish mutually beneficial objectives
  • Develop a full working knowledge of hotel operations and policies across departments
  • Coordinate sales group functions ensuring accurate preparation of sales contracts and group resumes
  • Design plans and materials for promotions and public relations
