Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in hospitality or event services
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as events require
- Proficiency with CRM and sales management tools
- Ability to travel locally for networking and client meetings
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in sales and event services within the hospitality or event management industry
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to conduct presentations and venue tours effectively
- Proficiency in sales pipeline and lead tracking software
- Knowledge of marketing strategies including email campaigns and social media
- Demonstrated success in business development and client acquisition
Job Duties
- Lead all sales efforts for the Diamond Club for non-game day events and respond to all event center inquiries
- Conduct all Diamond Club tours for prospective clients and convert leads into booked business
- Prospect for new business through targeted outreach focused on corporate, association, education, SMERF, nonprofit, wedding, and local markets
- Develop and execute proactive sales strategies to drive year-round bookings and maximize revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the Dayton business and hospitality community to increase awareness and generate referrals
- Attend networking events, industry meetings, and sales organizations to support revenue growth and market visibility
- Partner with Ticketing and Corporate Sales to identify cross selling and upselling opportunities tied to game day experiences
