Job Requirements

  • at least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
  • valid driver’s license in the applicable state
  • highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • strong organization and presentation skills
  • advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties

  • develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to increase hotel revenue
  • recruit, train, mentor, and lead a diverse sales team
  • conduct sales calls, client tours, and networking events to build lasting customer relationships
  • collaborate with hotel departments to support operational goals and maintain high guest satisfaction
  • create and manage sales budgets and forecast revenue targets
  • design innovative marketing campaigns to boost the hotel’s market presence
  • represent the hotel at industry events and community functions
