Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years relevant hotel sales experience
  • strong understanding of hotel sales processes and competitive market analysis
  • excellent communication skills
  • basic computer proficiency
  • passion for hotel sales with a competitive, hunter mentality
  • ability to collaborate across multiple departments and leadership levels

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED with 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • strong understanding of hotel sales and competitive sets
  • exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to use computer software for communication and data analysis
  • bachelor’s degree preferred
  • experience with premium-branded select, focused, or extended hotel stays
  • familiarity with Delphi or Envision sales systems

Job Duties

  • Drive market share growth and guest satisfaction
  • provide leadership to maximize revenue opportunities from new and current customers
  • mentor the sales team and drive effective sales tactics
  • collaborate with General Manager, Revenue Management, and Regional Sales staff
  • develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including hotel ownership and corporate staff
  • focus on total hotel revenue growth and positive RevPAR index change
  • execute sales processes for group business and corporate negotiated rate accounts
