Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or relevant discipline desired
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a sales manager
  • 3-5 years of experience in a hotel preferably in sales or operations
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and related software
  • Valid drivers' license and driving record meeting insurance requirements
  • Ability to periodically travel, including overnight stays
  • Ability to use computer for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to maintain flexible and extended work hours as needed

  • Independently evaluate business opportunities and create requests for proposals
  • Negotiate rates and concessions for corporate clients
  • Build and maintain relationships within the community to expand customer base
  • Conduct site visits and property tours for prospective clients
  • Lead weekly sales calls and meetings with local and remote clients
  • Collaborate with marketing and revenue management teams to align sales strategies
