Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales or sales management
  • Experience in hospitality or entertainment sales preferred
  • Strong leadership and team coaching abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales software
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to handle high-pressure and fast-paced environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Own event and catering sales strategy for the venue
  • Communicate sales strategy and plan to sales team and operations leadership
  • Track sales results and communicate needs
  • Manage plan to engage new and existing clients
  • Perform market research and understand competitors
  • Connect with community and local decision makers
  • Seek new ways to increase venue sales
  • Create sales plan supported by marketing plan
  • Motivate team to pursue new business opportunities
  • Train team to leverage promotions
  • Provide leadership and motivation to sales team
  • Communicate sales goals and expectations
  • Develop individual team members and provide feedback
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding
  • Manage event spaces and packages
  • Ensure accurate BEO details and payment collection
  • Maintain excellent guest experience
  • Demonstrate strong time management
  • Communicate professionally with team and guests
  • Address team concerns professionally
  • Foster positive guest relations and loyalty
