Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, marketing, hospitality or tourism management preferred
- Minimum 3 years work experience as director of sales, luxury experience preferred
- Ability to demonstrate excellent problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills
- Must possess strong decision making, selling, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize, delegate and work under pressure
- Advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internet
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
- Must maintain professional appearance and behavior
- Ability to travel for sales trips, conferences, training and special events
- Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Support Commercial Director in achieving overall business objective and formulation of strategies in ensuring business attainment
- Managing Sales team and overseeing daily sales operation
- Review sales production and implement sales action plan to achieve the budget goals
- Work closely with DORM to produce accurate forecast and make adjustments as needed after strategy meetings for yield optimization
- Maximize sales in all hotel revenue areas including Catering, F&B outlets, Spa and Front Office
- Possess strong decision making, selling, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Organize, delegate and work under pressure
- Coach and develop sales team
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct in a mature professional business manner
- Use advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internet
- Demonstrate reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
- Travel for sales trips, conferences, training and special events
- Identify sources of group business and establish solicitation programs
- Develop relationships with individual business sources
- Ensure accurate account information is maintained
- Maintain accurate forecasting for all group/TI and corporate segments
- Assist in annual marketing plan development and execution
- Maintain confidentiality and high work standards
- Manage sales systems, administration, database and sales team operations
- Oversee contract document negotiations and reporting
- Manage specific markets and segmentations
- Establish programs to achieve room night goals and develop customer relationships
- Adjust sales activities to meet plan goals
- Monitor travel schedules and expenses
- Communicate regularly with key accounts and Four Seasons Worldwide Sales Offices
- Plan and administer outbound sales functions
- Develop and execute sales department budget and programs
- Represent and manage Four Seasons Hotel account management system
- Implement strategies to exceed financial and brand goals
- Hire, retain and develop diverse sales talent
- Conduct evaluations and coaching
- Establish personal sales goals
- Review weekly sales personnel production
- Conduct sales calls and site inspections
- Maximize rooms inventory and catering space
- Coordinate group room forecasts with events management and reservations
- Maintain communication between Sales and operating departments
- Ensure professional communication with clients
- Foster high morale within the sales team
- Assume other duties as requested by management
