Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license in the applicable state
  • Compliance with local and national employment eligibility requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Experience with professional selling skills and hospitality CRM systems
  • Ability to travel as required

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience
  • A 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • A 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience

Job Duties

  • Develop and manage the annual sales and marketing budget, business plans, and promotional strategies to achieve financial and operational goals
  • Lead proactive sales efforts including outbound calls, site tours, client entertainment, and relationship development
  • Drive market intelligence by monitoring key account production, analyzing competitive trends, and implementing proactive strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, brand requirements, and established sales performance metrics
  • Understand, negotiate, and execute sales contracts to optimize revenue opportunities
  • Consistently achieve individual, team, and portfolio revenue expectations
  • Maintain strong visibility within the local market, representing the hotel in business and community organizations
  • Participate in and/or lead daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operations meetings
  • Partner cross-functionally with department leaders to ensure guest satisfaction and support commercial success
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and hold sales team members accountable for performance, development, and results
