Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- 3-5 years of hotel sales experience
- Proven success in hotel sales
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency

Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED with 3-5 years of equivalent hotel sales experience
- Proven track record of success in hotel sales and understanding of competitive sets
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in email and data analysis
- Preferred bachelor's degree
- Experience with premium-branded select, focused, or extended stay hotels
- Familiarity with Delphi or Envision sales systems
Job Duties
- Drive growth of total hotel revenue and achieve positive RevPAR index change year-over-year
- Understand and execute the sales process to contract group business and secure corporate negotiated rate accounts
- Champion the hotel's overall business plan with a focus on successful execution
- Provide insights on the hotel’s competitive set and advise sales staff and general manager accordingly
- Optimize sales staff by ensuring understanding of their mission and providing necessary tools for success
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders including hotel ownership and corporate staff
- Collaborate closely with general manager, assistant general manager, front office manager, executive sales leadership, revenue management, and corporate teams
