Job Requirements
- 4-year college or university degree
- Previous experience as Director of Sales or Sales Manager in luxury hotel or resort
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proven track record in achieving budgeted sales goals
- Ability to recruit, train, and mentor sales staff
- Proficiency with computerized operational systems
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Job Duties
- Monitor and motivate sales activities and sales team to ensure quotas are met
- Focus and coordinate sales activities, individual accounts, and group bookings with transient demand to maximize revenue per available room
- Recruit, train, and guide sales department personnel on roles and performance techniques
- Conduct performance evaluations and follow up with sales personnel
- Direct sales activities to achieve budgeted goals and adapt to current and future business trends
- Negotiate to maximize revenue and profit while satisfying client needs
- Develop and execute sales and marketing solutions
- Assist in marketing plan development and execution
- Review market analysis, occupancy potential, and rates
- Ensure compliance with company Minimum Operating Standards
- Analyze sales statistics and business performance
