Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • minimum 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry
  • at least 2 years in a senior sales leadership role
  • strong knowledge of hotel revenue management principles and sales techniques
  • exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • proficient in sales CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to lead and inspire a team, drive performance, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • valid driver's license

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals for rooms, group bookings, events, and other hotel services
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key corporations, travel, and group clients
  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team, setting clear performance expectations and goals
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback to adjust strategies and capitalize on opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing, revenue management, and operations to ensure cohesive promotion and execution of sales initiatives
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to increase brand visibility and build client relationships
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports for senior management
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies related to sales practices and customer service
