Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • proven sales leadership experience in hospitality
  • strong communication and negotiation skills
  • ability to lead and motivate sales teams
  • ability to develop and implement sales strategies
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and Delphi
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays
  • physical ability to stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands, and lift 10-25 pounds regularly
  • aggressive selling background in hotel industry

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of the sales division
  • provide the strategic vision for maximum hotel sales generation and optimal revenue growth
  • lead a talented sales team and foster an energized, achievement-focused environment
  • assess competitive landscape and company program effectiveness
  • cultivate and leverage external and internal relationships to drive business growth
  • collaborate with Finance to ensure sales plans meet budget and revenue goals
  • generate and develop new business to meet targets
  • maintain and nurture client relationships
  • manage consistent growth within client base
  • develop customer relations including sales leads, research, cold calling, and customer service
  • implement sales action plans to increase revenue and acquire new accounts
  • create opportunities to expand business with current clients
  • grow existing accounts and prospective clients to full potential
  • attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows and prepare post-event analysis
  • interact regularly with executives of major clients
  • analyze client needs and promote company services
  • manage preparation and implementation of sales strategies and forecasts
  • formulate objectives to develop high-value client relationships
  • understand prospective client culture, product portfolio, competitive position, organization structure
  • function as liaison between clients and operations staff
