Job Requirements
- College degree highly preferred
- 1 to 2 plus years work experience in the restaurant/retail sector
- 5 plus years work experience in sales/sales management relating to wine
- proficient knowledge of wine regions and competitor set
- ability to immediately leverage client relationships and supplier connections
- excellent communication and negotiation skills
- experience in public speaking and presentations
- conversational knowledge of romance languages
- motivation and attention to detail
- ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
Job Qualifications

- proven ability to leverage existing client relationships and supplier connections

- motivation and acute attention to detail
- proven track record of successful selling
Job Duties
- Actively engage in NY City wine market, working closely with sales team members to grow distribution and sales activity with restaurants and retailers
- development and execution of sales incentive programs
- establish measurable and achievable objectives compatible with company and winery priorities
- identify distribution gaps and develop a strategy to resolve challenges
- direct the execution of the business plan to achieve financial objectives for assigned market and customer channel
- recruit, attract, develop and maintain talented sales representatives within the organization
- train all personnel in accordance with the company programs and procedures
