Job Requirements
- Strong leadership presence suitable for luxury environment with positive solution-oriented attitude
- Minimum five years progressively responsible management experience in hospitality specifically Rooms Division operations
- Demonstrated success in Front Office and Guest Services operations enhancing guest satisfaction
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting maintaining quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on active listening empathy and problem-solving
- Able to communicate in English, second language a plus
- Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays to ensure 24/7 operations
- Physically able to stand and walk extended periods
- Ability to use computer, telephone and office equipment
- Capable of lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, reach and bend throughout shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or GED
- Four years experience in guest services, Front Office, Housekeeping or related area
- Or two year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
- Two years experience in guest services, Front Office, Housekeeping or related area
- Strong leadership presence suitable for luxury environment
- Proven success in Front Office and Guest Services operations
- Excellent communication skills including active listening and problem-solving
- Experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Skilled in use of Microsoft Office software
- Solid understanding of Rooms Division operations, Front Office systems, housekeeping and guest services protocols
Job Duties
- Lead and oversee all operations within the Rooms Division including Front Office, Housekeeping, At Your Service, and Guest Services to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Resolve guest concerns swiftly and efficiently ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Uphold resort standards across all responsibility areas to maintain consistency in service delivery and cleanliness
- Recruit, train, and mentor managers and associates in the Rooms Division fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and resort data ensuring security protocols are followed
- Collaborate with other hotel departments for integrated guest experiences acting as liaison
- Build rapport with VIP guests and loyalty members managing special requests to drive guest loyalty
- Review guest satisfaction surveys and feedback to develop strategies for continuous improvement
- Manage payroll, labor costs, scheduling, and departmental budgets ensuring cost-effective operations
- Ensure safety and security of guests and staff adhering to health and safety protocols
- Initiate continuous improvement programs to elevate guest experience optimize operations and drive revenue
