Job Requirements

  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment

  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Ability to read, write and verbally communicate effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive hotel operations experience including multi-department leadership
  • Experience leading Front Office and Housekeeping operations
  • Proven leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with hotel PMS systems such as Lightspeed and operational software including Windows and Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with business departments, guests and vendors
  • Experience with branded or full-service hotel operations
  • Bilingual Spanish speaker a plus

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of Front Office, Housekeeping and Laundry
  • Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain and enforce brand standards, service standards and operating procedures
  • Monitor room availability, cleanliness and readiness to ensure optimal occupancy and guest satisfaction
  • Problem-solve and identify potential risks related to guests, employees and property to prevent financial loss
  • Oversee Front Office computer system operations including software maintenance and report generation
  • Lead and develop Front Office and Housekeeping teams to promote a positive work environment
