Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in management, recreation, hospitality, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role
  • Ability to read and write
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license required

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent revenue management skills including experience with budgets, P&L's and forecasting
  • Highly focused with excellent communication skills
  • Motivated and professional in appearance and presentation
  • Extensive computer knowledge including HR/Payroll systems, JD Edwards, MS Office, PMS, CRM, Excel, Word, hotel key and POS systems
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to read and write effectively
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Valid driver's license
  • Bachelor's degree in management, recreation, hospitality, or related field

Job Duties

  • Oversee the operations functions of the hotel including resort maintenance, housekeeping, front office, and events
  • Ensure full compliance of operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures and service standards
  • Lead key property projects including capital improvement and refurbishment efforts
  • Handle guest and employee complaints and oversee service recovery procedures
  • Provide effective leadership and communication with staff, customers, vendors, and local authorities
  • Manage annual operating, capital, and revenue budgets including procurement, labor forecasting and financial reporting
  • Directly oversee human resource activities including hiring, training, scheduling, payroll approvals, and compliance
  • Monitor and respond to guest reviews across multiple platforms ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions
  • Maintain community relations and partnerships with local vendors and business groups
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, training manuals, and administrative reporting
  • Conduct audits on financial deposits, cash handling, and credit card policies to ensure compliance
  • Monitor daily administrative functions and set monthly and annual KPI goals for departments and agents
