Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive Rooms Division leadership experience including department head level experience in both Front Desk and Housekeeping
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, counsel, and inspire teams
  • Strong track record of colleague engagement with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and a guest-centric mindset
  • Service oriented style with excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Hotel/hospitality degree an asset
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Spanish language skills a plus
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and strong organizational and administrative skills

Job Duties

  • Provide short-and long-term strategic planning and leadership for all Rooms Division operations
  • Oversee Front Desk, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and Event Setup with a focus on colleague experience and service excellence
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Rooms Division managers and team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Monitor labor costs and approve schedules to achieve departmental productivity goals
  • Conduct regular Rooms Division meetings and monthly financial reviews with subordinate managers and senior leadership
  • Coordinate major projects such as renovations, capital expenditures, and equipment upgrades
  • Manage departmental budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial performance aligns with hotel goals
