Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related fields
- prior experience as Director of Revenue Management
- knowledge of Austin market
- ability to speak, read, write and understand English
- ability to work with mathematical concepts
- ability to calculate and analyze trends and pace
- proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
- ability to provide clear and concise data, analysis, instruction and guidance
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- detailed knowledge of GDS, CRS and OTA platforms
- flexibility to work varying schedules due to hospitality industry cyclical nature
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related fields preferred
- prior experience as Director of Revenue Management required
- knowledge of Austin market
- proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work with mathematical concepts and analyze trends and pace

Job Duties
- Maximize overall room revenue on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- direct yield strategies to achieve or exceed budgeted room revenues and market share penetration goals
- prepare and analyze daily, weekly and monthly segmentation pace reports and set and implement selling strategies based on pace and market conditions
- manage Reservations Department staff ensuring proper selling strategies and standard operating procedures are in place and adhered to
- prepare agenda and lead weekly Revenue Management Strategy meetings, including critiques, tracking, competitive analysis and future strategies for all market segments
- collaborate with Marketing and Sales leaders on room revenue matters and provide room revenue and occupancy forecasts for operational departments
- assist in creating the Rooms Revenue Budget and Market penetration goals annually
- respond to internal and external Revenue and Reservations inquiries or requests and provide assistance as needed
- act as liaison with other departments such as Operations, Front Office, and Food & Beverage
- implement agreed rate structure and strategy for all market segments
- establish and maintain effective employee working relations within the department and other departments
- attend selected trade and travel functions to promote sales and hotel image
- maintain close relationships with key decision-makers in local and international markets
- provide feedback to General Manager on changing market conditions and competitive trends
- work with Director of Sales to propose and initiate new services and products for guests
- collaborate with Director of Finance to ensure accurate forecasting
- develop and present the annual budget with Corporate Director of Finance and General Manager
- adhere to operations standards, policies, procedures, and instructions
- maintain open communication with employees
- monitor and develop employee performance including supervision, counseling, evaluations, goal setting, and recognition
- be familiar with safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements
- attend relevant meetings
- perform other duties as assigned and directed
