Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of retail management experience
- At least 3 years experience in store operations and merchandising
- Proven leadership ability to recruit, motivate, and develop teams
- Background in licensed sports merchandise preferred
- Experience managing multi-million dollar retail revenues with full P&L responsibility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with POS systems
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of retail management experience, including a minimum of 3 years in store operations and merchandising
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to recruit, motivate, and develop high-performing teams that drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Background in licensed sports merchandise, such as apparel and novelty items, strongly preferred
- Strong background in retail marketing and brand management
- Proven experience in specialty retail, ideally within a sports-related environment
- Demonstrated success managing revenues over $20 million, including full P&L responsibility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
Job Duties
- Develop and implement a comprehensive retail strategy in collaboration with unit and client leadership
- Lead merchandise planning, buying, and inventory management based on sales trends and market insights
- Oversee all aspects of game-day operations, including profit and loss management, financial performance monitoring, and reporting
- Direct in-store merchandising and visual displays to maximize impact and drive revenue, and integrate market trends into product selection to enhance business performance
- Collaborate with retail managers to design and execute customer and employee promotions
- Create detailed business plans to introduce new product lines and source appropriate vendors
