Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related field
  • Or two-year degree from accredited university in a relevant major
  • Four years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area
  • Strong knowledge of customer service and personal service principles
  • Proficiency in economic and accounting principles
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in financial resource management
  • Understanding of business and management principles
  • Knowledge of food production, presentation, and sanitation
  • Ability to manage material resources
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and departmental expenses

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with six years relevant experience
  • Or two-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with four years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Understanding of economics, accounting, and financial resource management

  • Knowledge of business and management principles
  • Expertise in food production and presentation
  • Skilled in management of material resources

Job Duties

  • Manage all daily restaurant operations and staff
  • Oversee restaurants, bars, lounges, and room service
  • Conduct pre-meal briefings on menu items
  • Maintain service and sanitation standards
  • Order and purchase equipment and supplies
  • Manage booking and service of special events and hospitality suites
  • Develop and maintain department budgets
  • Lead and motivate food and beverage team
  • Ensure compliance with liquor laws and internal policies
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints
  • Administer employee performance appraisals
  • Hire and train management and hourly employees
  • Communicate effectively with executives and peers
  • Analyze information and solve operational problems
