Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management or related area
  • Or two-year degree from accredited university in relevant field
  • Four years of related experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Knowledge of food and beverage policies and liquor laws
  • Demonstrated ability in budget management and cost control
  • Capability to manage and mentor staff
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with six years of relevant experience
  • Or a two-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with four years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Understanding of economic and accounting principles including P&L management
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in management of financial resources
  • Experienced in strategic planning and leadership
  • Familiarity with food production, presentation, and sanitation standards
  • Skilled in material resource management

Job Duties

  • Manage all restaurant operations and staff daily
  • Direct food and beverage/culinary management teams
  • Strive to improve guest and employee satisfaction
  • Maximize financial performance and control budgets
  • Facilitate pre-meal briefings with chefs and managers
  • Maintain service and sanitation standards in all areas
  • Oversee booking and service for special events and room service
