Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum six years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related area
- or two-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- minimum four years experience in relevant food and beverage or related sector

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- manage all restaurant operations and staff on a daily basis
- direct and collaborate with food and beverage and culinary management teams
- strive to improve guest and employee satisfaction continually
- maximize financial performance including budget management and expense control
- estimate food, liquor, wine, and beverage consumption for purchasing
- facilitate pre-meal briefings with chefs and managers about menu items
- maintain service and sanitation standards across restaurant, bar, lounge, and room service
- order and purchase necessary equipment and supplies
- oversee booking and service of restaurant parties, special events, and room service hospitality suites
- establish and communicate challenging, realistic operational goals
- lead and influence team members using interpersonal and communication skills
- build trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
- serve as a role model for excellent customer service and guest relations
- ensure compliance with cash control, liquor control, and food and beverage policies
- provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance assessment for staff
- respond effectively to guest complaints and feedback
- manage human resources activities including hiring, training, performance monitoring, and fair treatment of employees
- inform executives, peers, and subordinates with relevant information timely
