Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • availability to work 50+ hour weeks including evenings weekends and some holidays
  • ability to manage and lead a team effectively
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience in restaurant management or related field preferred
  • familiarity with financial management and reporting
  • understanding of labor laws and employee scheduling
  • capability to perform training and development duties
  • commitment to customer satisfaction and quality standards
  • adherence to health and safety regulations
  • proficiency in recordkeeping and report preparation

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior management experience in a restaurant or related industry preferred
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends holidays and evenings
  • financial acumen including experience with budgeting and profit and loss statements
  • customer service orientation with the ability to handle complaints effectively
  • knowledge of labor laws and scheduling practices
  • proficiency in training and development of staff
  • problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • ability to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment

Job Duties

  • willingness to work a 50+ hour workweek including evenings weekends and some holidays
  • engage actively with the community to elevate the restaurant's presence and public relations
  • collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of top-quality supplies and effective restaurant equipment maintenance
  • maintain appropriate staffing levels through efficient hiring and scheduling adhering to company policies and labor regulations
  • oversee staff to guarantee prompt service product quality equipment upkeep sanitation and a welcoming restaurant atmosphere
  • utilize company training materials to provide hands-on training for new crew members
  • implement financial controls for accountability in petty cash p&l statements daily deposits payroll and budget management
  • tactfully address and resolve customer complaints to ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • evaluate supervisor performance and acknowledge their contributions to the team
  • prepare revenue and expense forecasts to set achievable profit targets
  • exercise sound judgment in employee relations including conducting performance evaluations and managing disciplinary actions
  • maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with legal and company standards
  • mentor and develop assistant managers and manager trainees to facilitate their career growth
  • ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and customers
  • perform additional duties as needed to support restaurant operations
