Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary, hotel & restaurant management or related field highly desired
  • full service with bar restaurant general management experience required
  • quick service restaurant management highly desired
  • 10+ years of increasing responsibility in management experience with direct P&L responsibility and oversight of $20m+ managed sales volume or franchise operations management
  • 10+ years of airport terminal F&B concessions experience highly desirable
  • 5+ years of multi-unit restaurant management experience with general manager direct reports or franchise management experience required
  • aptitude to monitor and control labor costs in both dollar and percentage terms
  • culinary background desirable with utmost importance on food safety
  • proficient level of computer literacy including MS Office and POS systems
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills including public presentations
  • strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and interact at all levels
  • analytical skills to conduct gap analysis between desired and current states of business goals

Job Duties

  • Drive management team/direct reports and hourly team members in the areas of new product introductions and promotional programs
  • drive the implementation of these items and provide training accordingly
  • focus on the food to ensure food quality and standards, maintain recipe adherence and portion control, and ensure compliance with company, restaurant partner and food safety specifications
  • conduct training for management/direct reports and hourly team members on product preparation, guest service techniques, equipment maintenance, brand identity and standards
  • conduct routine internal quality assessment audits and complete detailed written assessments to determine preparedness and concurrence with brand standards
  • responsible for financial controls, personnel management, facilities, marketing, food preparation and quality, and general business operations
  • develop innovative solutions with regional leadership for long-term transformations within assigned properties
  • optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability
  • facilitate and participate in people development and succession planning
  • maintain adherence to all company policies, procedures, and state health/sanitation standards
  • maintain merchandising standards, display presentations, signing standards, and monitor inventory levels
  • handle office management tasks including management of funds and media, receiving, inventory, purchasing, team member scheduling and payroll
  • assist in forecasting and budgeting by monitoring sales performance through analysis of sales reports and comparison shopping
