Job Requirements

  • education as specified, management experience in hospitality or property operations, management license for condominiums if applicable, ability to lead and develop operational strategies, strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience with budgeting and financial reporting, ability to maintain high standards of property safety and security, capability to foster associate engagement and team development, proficiency in managing multiple departments and compliance with policies

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in business administration, hotel or property management, or related major with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales, marketing, or management operations
  • or 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, hotel or property management, or related major with 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales, marketing, or management operations
  • management license for condominiums as applicable
  • previous association management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Work with the guidance team to develop operational strategy aligned with brand business strategy and lead its execution
  • Review owner engagement surveys and prepare yearly action plans based on comment cards and guest satisfaction results
  • Adhere to operational excellence pillars including owner and employee engagement, financial excellence, and property management
  • Evaluate operations team service delivery and provide feedback
  • Conduct public space walk-throughs with engineering and housekeeping to ensure maintenance and preventive processes
  • Tour building regularly interacting with associates, owners, and board members to assess business needs and opportunities
  • Implement sustainable work processes and systems that support strategic execution
  • Review financial reports and statements to monitor property performance against budget
  • Communicate departmental goals clearly to achieve results
  • Manage all departments within the luxury condominium facilities focusing on investment protection and value increase
  • Serve as liaison to shared services directors like loss prevention, human resources, accounting, and housekeeping
  • Identify and correct building and service defects for value enhancement
  • Implement high standards for life safety, loss prevention, privacy, and unit owner identity protection
  • Maintain comprehensive inventories and knowledge of owner information, parking, dues, services, and policies
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel and residence policies and procedures
  • Verify fair and equitable treatment of associates
  • Recognize team member contributions and celebrate successes
  • Foster associate commitment to excellent service and model desired behaviors
  • Develop and execute decisions to achieve property goals
  • Implement staff training programs to reinforce quality service
  • Attend owners and board meetings, providing monthly reports and financial statements
  • Establish strong relationships with owners and board of directors to maintain a successful residential community
  • Promote collaboration through education, communication, and innovation
  • Work with direct reports to identify financial concerns and improve performance
  • Prepare and operate within annual residence budget
  • Focus leadership on critical business success drivers
  • Provide timely financial reporting and guidance on governance compliance
  • Create an atmosphere in residential common areas that meets or exceeds owner expectations
  • Champion the brand service vision and ensure leadership alignment
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with operations teams
  • Interface regularly with owners, vendors, and guests for feedback
  • Handle owner complaints following instant pacification procedures
  • Facilitate creative problem-solving to improve guest satisfaction
  • Ensure ongoing communication within operations
  • Incorporate owner satisfaction metrics in operations meetings
  • Set goals and hold staff accountable through performance reviews
  • Solicit employee feedback and maintain an open door policy
  • Administer property policies fairly and complete disciplinary procedures as required
  • Conduct annual appraisals and champion change management efforts
  • Communicate brand and regional initiatives and follow-ups to the team
