Job Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Food Science, Culinology, or related field
  • minimum 12 years of experience in food product development
  • at least 5 years in a technical leadership role
  • proven experience in frozen, shelf-stable, and fresh-prepared food categories
  • expert knowledge of ingredient interactions and clean-label formulation
  • experience leading manufacturing plant trials
  • proficiency with product labeling and regulatory compliance
  • excellent problem-solving and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Food Science, Culinology, or related field
  • minimum 12 years of food product development experience
  • at least 5 years in a technical leadership role
  • expertise in diverse food categories including frozen, shelf-stable, and fresh-prepared systems
  • expert knowledge of ingredient functionality and clean-label formulation
  • experience with large-scale manufacturing and scaling production
  • proficiency in regulatory and compliance matters
  • strong leadership and mentorship skills
  • excellent strategic communication abilities

Job Duties

  • Define the R&D processes and oversee innovation programs
  • lead complex technical projects focusing on flavor and texture optimization
  • assess technical fit and recommend scientific resources for projects
  • act as technical advisor and represent CuliNEX externally
  • partner with Sales to scope and audit new business opportunities
  • champion the Gold Standard process ensuring culinary and commercial excellence
  • mentor and lead the R&D team fostering continuous learning and scientific rigor
