Job Requirements

- relevant procurement or supply chain experience
- experience in food and beverage purchasing preferred
- proven leadership experience
- strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- ability to work collaboratively with teams across departments

- familiarity with inventory control systems
- knowledge of health safety and quality assurance best practices

Job Duties
- plan organize direct and control all purchasing functions of the hotel
- control inventories at appropriate levels
- manage the RFP and bid process
- obtain bids from vendors as per specifications and standards
- place orders for all food and non-food items
- schedule deliveries and monitor product quality
- interview train supervise counsel schedule and evaluate purchasing staff
- obtain competitive quotations ensuring best product sourcing
- maintain up-to-date locally nominated supplier information
- manage database of active local contracts with suppliers
- adhere to quality procedures and Hilton policies
- draft annual department budget with finance
- coach team members to Hilton standards
- manage purchase order allocation and reconciliation
- maintain supplier relationships and report performance
- manage employee relations recruiting training and coaching
- lead storeroom operation while upholding health safety quality assurance and control
- compile accurate stock and transaction records
- prepare month end and ad hoc reports timely
- execute tasks as instructed by hotel manager
- maintain requisitions in beverage storeroom
