Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering facilities management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management or property operations preferably in hospitality
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and life safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering facilities management or related field
- Proven experience managing hotel facilities or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of building systems mechanical electrical heating and cooling systems
- Familiarity with federal state and local safety regulations
- Leadership experience including staff management and training
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage capital projects and budgets
- Proficiency with property maintenance management systems
- Commitment to Hilton’s core values of hospitality integrity leadership teamwork ownership and urgency
Job Duties
- Direct and oversee the functionality and safety of the facility including mechanical equipment electrical systems heating and cooling systems life safety systems and grounds
- Conduct facility inspections
- Assign verify and document completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system
- Direct oversee and maintain required documentation for energy management conservation and preventive maintenance programs
- Lead manage and communicate information about capital projects and property rehabilitations including scheduling budgeting and complying with contractor bidding standards
- Direct daily department operations including guest service standards initiatives product quality inventory management cost controls systems use management budgeting forecasting adherence to regulations and meeting participation
- Monitor and develop team member performance including supervision professional development counseling evaluations recognition and reward
- Recruit interview and train team members
