Pali Mountain is a premier year-round camp, outdoor education facility, and retreat center situated on 250 forested acres in the San Bernardino Mountains. It serves over 50,000 guests annually through three distinct programs: Pali Adventures, Pali Institute, and Pali Retreat. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years senior leadership experience in facility management
  • Proven track record of managing multi-department teams
  • Experience with asset and capital project management
  • Strong budget and financial management skills
  • Proficiency with CMMS and data analytics
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards
  • Ability to work both in the field and office environment
  • Must pass background check and drug test after job offer
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years senior leadership experience managing large complex facilities
  • Proven multi-department oversight experience including maintenance, housekeeping, and construction
  • Strategic planning and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Strong budget management and financial acumen
  • Experience administering Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations including ACA and AEE standards
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to recruit, train, and mentor high-performing teams
  • Ability to manage seasonal and program-specific operational demands

Job Duties

  • Oversee all property maintenance including buildings, grounds, and infrastructure
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs
  • Manage preventative maintenance plans and cost reduction strategies
  • Administer CMMS and report maintenance performance
  • Oversee construction projects and capital improvements
  • Manage asset inventory and lifecycle planning
  • Serve as landlord for 15 staff houses and manage related maintenance
  • Supervise and mentor maintenance, housekeeping, and support staff
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and operational efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Conduct safety audits and emergency response planning
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning
  • Act as liaison between property operations and program directors
