- Associates Degree or equivalent in relevant education, training, and experience
- Maintenance supervisor experience preferred

Job Duties
- Supervise the Plant Operations Department including interviewing, hiring with approval, training, evaluating, and counseling staff
- Maintain equipment, building, utilities, and grounds with an adequate preventative maintenance program and arrange maintenance contracts
- Maintain emergency power generating equipment and all fire and life safety equipment, and manage fire drill and safety inspection reports
- Provide timely and effective responses to service requests from residents and staff
- Ensure all equipment and systems function properly and safely in compliance with regulations
- Advise and consult with the Executive Director on short and long range planning for maintenance and community visual appeal
- Participate in annual departmental budget planning and ensure expenditures remain within budget
- Maintain proper inventory of repair parts and adjust computerized controls for HVAC and other equipment as necessary
