Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field
- At least 5 years experience in financial or office management
- Minimum 3 years experience supervising staff
- Knowledge of Catholic Church operations and mission
- Familiarity with diocesan policies
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in financial or office management in a professional business setting
- Minimum 3 years experience directly supervising staff
- Understanding of and ability to support the operation and mission of the Catholic Church
- Knowledge of diocesan guidelines and procedures
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Duties
- Partner with the pastor to create team-based environments
- Oversee filing and record keeping for parish financial matters
- Approve invoices for payment
- Utilize financial data to consult on stewardship, capital needs and expense control
- Assist accountants with parish audits and implement recommendations
- Guide the annual parish budget process
- Monitor collection, recording and depositing of parish revenue
- Attend finance committee meetings and Archdiocese business manager meetings
- Serve as parish contact with banks and Archdiocese offices
- Direct and evaluate overall parish operations and staff support
- Oversee day-to-day operations of churches
- Apply human resources policies and procedures
- Coordinate staff hiring and performance reviews
- Administer salary and benefit programs
- Supervise non-pastoral staff
- Prepare responses to insurance and legal matters
- Oversee scheduling and usage of parish facilities
- Support parish communication efforts including newsletter and website management
- Assist with coordination of parish ministries and organizations
- Serve as liaison with St. Augustine school
- Oversee facilities maintenance and vendor contracts
- Take on additional leadership tasks as needed
