Job Requirements

  • At least 4 years of progressive experience in hotel or related field
  • Or a 4-year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience
  • Or a 2-year college degree with 2 or more years of related experience
  • Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department, and liquor regulations
  • Willingness to work long hours
  • Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently or constantly

Job Qualifications

  • Physical capability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently or constantly

Job Duties

  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
  • Listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests
  • Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly and attentive manner
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and training sessions
  • Participate in management on duty coverage as required
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate standards as required by hotel scheduling
