Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years of experience in audio-visual services
  • at least one year of supervisory experience
  • demonstrated ability to manage audio-visual equipment in live event settings
  • experience in pre-planning and executing large audio-visual events
  • proficiency with computer hardware and software including Microsoft Office
  • strong leadership skills
  • ability to maintain customer satisfaction
  • valid driver’s license required for relevant roles

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma is required
  • bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • 3+ years of audio-visual experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • working knowledge of audio-visual equipment in a live show environment
  • experience handling pre-planning and operations of large audio-visual events
  • proficiency with computer hardware
  • proficiency with software including the Internet and Microsoft Office
  • effective leadership abilities
  • customer satisfaction focus
  • valid driver’s license for positions operating company vehicles

Job Duties

  • Direct the operations team on daily equipment setups and strikes
  • ensure appropriate business levels are accommodated by scheduled staff members and delegate tasks appropriately
  • mentor and supervise operational staff to provide outstanding customer service
  • establish excellent working relationships with hotel/resort staff, team members, neighboring locations, and vendors
  • utilize billing system to coordinate invoicing activities and ensure accuracy
  • ensure inventory control procedures maintain proper inventory levels while upholding safety and quality
  • manage on-site equipment inventory and source internal gear before sub-renting externally
  • ensure all equipment and services are delivered on time and in good condition
  • maintain inventory in good working order and act quickly to repair gear
  • research and stay current on new technology and equipment
  • maintain positive employee relations for audio-visual and business center teams
  • manage staff to support business growth and organizational goals
  • provide coaching to develop team members' skills
  • manage human resources activities including selection, performance management, and training
  • portray a polished professional image and ensure team adherence
  • ensure employees are properly trained in all areas
  • support property-wide training programs
  • provide mentoring and coaching to assure team development
  • train technical staff and model equipment use
  • recommend team members for additional training opportunities
