Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, business administration or related field
- food safety and sanitation certifications
- alcohol service certification
- 5-7 years progressive leadership in food and beverage operations
- 3-5 years senior management experience
- experience with large-scale venue food and beverage
- expertise in multi-outlet operations
- experience in vendor negotiations and contracts
- strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
- ability to manage union and non-union teams
- skilled in labor scheduling and cost control
- experience with P&L management and budgeting
- proficiency in POS and inventory management systems
- excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- ability to foster service-driven culture
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field
- food safety and sanitation certifications such as ServSafe or HACCP
- alcohol service certification like TIPS or equivalent
- 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in food and beverage operations
- 3-5 years in a senior management role
- experience managing food and beverage in large-scale venues such as performing arts centers, convention centers, stadiums, or hotels
- demonstrated success overseeing multi-outlet operations including catering, concessions, and bar service
- proven experience in vendor negotiations and contract management
- strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop teams
- experience managing union and non-union workforces
- expertise in labor forecasting, scheduling, and cost control
- proficiency in P&L management and budget development
- skilled in POS systems such as Micros, Simphony, or Toast
- ability to design cost control measures to improve profitability
Job Duties
- Assist in management of catering and concessions operations
- ensure total compliance with alcohol service policies
- manage catered and concession events from setup to teardown including staff and guest communication
- ensure legal, efficient, professional, and profitable operation of the venue
- review and analyze financial reports including budgets, projections, and labor costs
- resolve conflicts including mediation and labor negotiations
- author, review, and amend policies and contracts as directed
- oversee scheduling and labor allocation
- coordinate staffing needs based on ticket sales and demographics
- evaluate sales and purchasing data for cost accuracy
- program and maintain point-of-sale systems for financial reporting
- direct and assist managers in preparing and attaining goals
- provide direction and follow up on assignments
- inspect operations to maintain quality standards
- prepare and submit accurate reports on time
- train and develop a high-performing team
- review and develop menus and marketing plans
- establish professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and vendors
- perform other duties as assigned by General Manager
