Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, business administration, or related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in food and beverage operations
  • 3-5 years in senior management roles
  • certifications in food safety and sanitation
  • alcohol service certification
  • experience managing large teams and complex operations
  • strong financial acumen including P&L management
  • expertise in labor forecasting and scheduling
  • capability in handling vendor negotiations and contract management
  • proficiency in POS and inventory management systems
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work under pressure and manage large-scale events
  • commitment to maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and policies

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field
  • food safety and sanitation certifications such as ServSafe or HACCP
  • alcohol service certification such as TIPS or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in food and beverage operations
  • at least 3-5 years in a senior management role
  • prior experience managing food and beverage in large-scale venues like performing arts centers, convention centers, stadiums, or hotels
  • demonstrated success overseeing multi-outlet operations including catering, concessions, and bar services
  • proven experience in vendor negotiations, contract management, and third-party partnerships
  • ability to lead, mentor, and develop large teams
  • experience managing union and non-union workforces
  • expertise in labor forecasting, scheduling, and cost control
  • proficiency in POS systems such as Micros, Simphony, or Toast
  • strong skills in budget development, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • ability to foster a service-driven culture focused on guest experience

Job Duties

  • Assist in the overall effective management of catering and concessions operations
  • ensure total compliance with all alcohol service policies
  • monitor alcohol service throughout events and report compliance issues promptly
  • manage catered and concession events from set-up to tear down including communication with staff and guests
  • ensure legal, efficient, professional, and profitable venue operations
  • review and analyze financial reports including budgets and forecasting
  • participate in conflict resolution and labor negotiations
  • author, review, and amend policies and procedures as requested
  • oversee scheduling and labor allocation
  • analyze ticket sales in relation to staffing needs and demographics
  • evaluate sales and purchasing data for cost accuracy
  • program and maintain point-of-sale systems
  • direct and assist managers with goals and assignments
  • conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards
  • prepare and submit reports accurately and timely
  • train and develop effective teams
  • review and assist in menu and marketing plan development
  • maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
