Job Qualifications
- University degree with minimum 14 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with minimum 12 years of experience or in absence of degree, 18 years of relevant experience
- 12+ years of leadership experience in a heavily matrixed manufacturing organization
- Proven leadership and talent development experience
- Ability to lead during challenging times and demonstrate change management acumen
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented with capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, resolve issues, and mitigate risks
- Ability to remain focused under pressure and address challenges effectively

Job Duties
- Guide the execution of operations and projects to meet established targets and metrics including managing over 1000 employees
- Accountable for establishing and overseeing long-term organizational goals and objectives to ensure alignment with broader strategies
- Strategize and design production plans balancing tactical and strategic demands considering product introduction, equipment efficiency, supply constraints, schedules, and staffing requirements
- Direct development and implementation of activities in production areas to ensure timely, high-quality production at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements
- Serve as primary champion for Employee Health & Safety (EHS), Quality Improvement, and Continuous Improvement programs
- Be accountable for reduction of inventory, cost, and waste while improving productivity by implementing best practices
- Ensure adherence and execution of all EHS and compliance policies and procedures at the Melbourne site
- Develop strategic facilities plan and ensure capital expenditure alignment and spend according to the plan
- Drive cost reduction and synergy plans across the operations organization
- Participate as a crisis management executive member and in business continuity planning
- Serve as a site leadership team member collaborating with Product Value Stream, Engineering, Human Resources, and Operations teams
- Oversee talent development and management
