Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Management, or related field and/or 6+ years relevant experience
- Experience in off-premise catering
- Must live near or be willing to relocate to Dallas, TX
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and move between venues
- Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple events and budgets
- Proficiency in coordinating between multiple departments
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Management, or related field and/or 6+ years of experience in Hospitality Operations, Food & Beverage/Banquets, Event Coordination, or Operations Management
- Experience in off-premise catering
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Renowned time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding client needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability
Job Duties
- Managing all day-to-day duties to ensure flawless event execution
- Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by enforcing sanitation standards and legal regulations
- Supervising and collaborating with sales team to understand event details
- Organizing meetings with sales, operations, and culinary teams for event preparation
- Scheduling staff according to business needs and recruiting new talent
- Supervising and coaching staff including servers, bartenders, and coordinators
- Acting as point of contact between Proof of the Pudding and clients
- Creating and updating pack lists and banquet event orders
- Assisting in ordering, logistics, and event-day supervision
- Leading event captains and ensuring smooth event operations
- Attending events to oversee set-up through break-down
- Managing post-event tasks including payroll and inventory input
- Overseeing multiple events and managing budget compliance
- Interviewing, hiring, and orienting new staff
- Ensuring proper staffing levels and conducting performance reviews
- Managing FOH invoicing and payroll procedures
