Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in a senior food and beverage management role
- Ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to calculate amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to execute instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to solve problems involving several variables in standardized situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with POS systems preferred
- Prior hotel or convention center experience preferred
- Familiarity with union environments and collective bargaining agreements

Job Duties
- Monitor and manage the department budget by implementing effective controls over food, beverage, and labor costs
- Identify opportunities to increase profitability and create value by challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation, and driving operational improvements
- Lead major events and oversee employees including managers, supervisors, and both union and non-union staff
- Maintain and deliver exceptional levels of internal and external customer service
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor during events to oversee execution and service delivery
- Work closely with clients before and during events to ensure their needs and expectations are met
- Collaborate with department leaders including Culinary, Sales, and Operations to strategically plan future events, develop new relationships, and create unique service offerings
- Provide support and operational analysis to the General Manager regarding costs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement during major events
- Oversee the overall Food & Beverage operation, including developing marketing ideas to promote business, reducing employee turnover, maintaining revenue and payroll budgets, and ensuring productivity goals are met while maintaining consistent quality
- Lead staffing, training, and planning of all Food & Beverage activities to ensure efficient and effective department operations
