Job Requirements
- Associate degree in nutrition, culinary or health related field
- Serve Safe Certification or equivalent
- 5-7 years in food service leadership roles
- Healthcare experience in acute care, senior living or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills including public speaking and conflict resolution
- Ability to communicate up and down the organization
- Team building and internal team development
- Project management and follow up
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive cultural change
- Computer competency, data analysis and reporting proficiency
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree in nutrition, culinary or health related field
- Serve Safe Certification or equivalent
- Preferred bachelor's degree in nutrition or food science
- Registered Dietitian, Certified Dietary Manager, or Dietary Technician, Registered
- 5-7 years of experience in food service leadership roles
- Healthcare experience in acute care, senior living or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills including public speaking and conflict resolution
- Team building and internal team development skills
- Project management and follow up abilities
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive cultural change
- Computer competency, data analysis and reporting proficiency
Job Duties
- Ensure patient safety through HACCP plans and quality assurance checks
- Conduct daily patient rounding with documentation and issue resolution
- Lead team member training including core competency, educational sessions, and annual reviews
- Oversee culinary operations to prepare and serve high-quality food daily across all shifts
- Manage retail and catering operations ensuring accurate food packaging, POS programming, and excellent guest service
- Implement staff education programs focusing on hospitality, job competency, and team culture
- Monitor and report on quality compliance and complaint resolution according to healthcare regulations
- Engage with community outreach programs such as Teaching Kitchens and educational activities
