Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Five to seven years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit restaurant operations
- Proven ability to build and maintain successful teams
- Passion for excellent service and quality
- Ability to lead with integrity and promote team success
- Extensive knowledge of restaurant industry best practices
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in food & beverage, business, marketing, or management
- Five to seven years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit restaurant operations
- Proven track record of achieving results and building successful teams
- Passion for providing excellent service and quality
- Strong leadership, integrity, and relationship-building skills
- Extensive knowledge of industry principles, procedures, and best practices
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with willingness to travel frequently within assigned market
Job Duties
- Leads operational activities for multiple First Watch restaurants in alignment with company guidelines regarding management development, sales, and profitability
- Trains, coaches, and develops General Managers and Operations Managers through timely performance feedback and evaluations
- Follows up on training progress of Management-in-Training (MITs), CAFE employees, and hourly staff in collaboration with the Training General Manager
- Ensures development of Operations Managers complies with First Watch management development programs
- Executes continuous development and recruitment of restaurant-level management through effective manpower planning
- Maintains a safe and harassment-free workplace across all restaurants
- Resolves problems effectively and handles staff performance and personality conflicts with reason and responsibility
- Develops and manages area budgets, including capital investments and administrative expenses, to meet or exceed financial goals
- Promotes the First Watch brand outside the restaurant to support business growth
