Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Significant restaurant operations experience in multi-unit management or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to learn and apply standard operating procedures
  • Ability to learn and apply HR policies and procedures
  • Experience with P&L analysis and corrective actions
  • Demonstrated supervisory practices
  • Skilled in interviewing and candidate assessment
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ability to execute training and development
  • Strong PC skills
  • Successful completion of training programs like Serve Safe and Phase Training
  • Food safety certification
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and grab
  • Ability to work in loud environments
  • Ability to see, hear, talk, smell, and taste
  • Ability to wear a headset
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Required travel between restaurants, with some travel outside local area (approximately 10%)

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • College degree preferred
  • Significant multi-unit restaurant management experience
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures
  • Ability to apply HR policies and procedures
  • Experience in P&L analysis and corrective measures
  • Supervisory experience
  • Skilled in interviewing and identifying high-performing candidates
  • Knowledge of employment laws
  • Skilled in training and development
  • Strong PC skills
  • Completion of recommended training programs such as Serve Safe and Phase Training
  • Food safety certification

Job Duties

  • Ensures proper staffing levels and diversity of management workforce
  • Monitors labor availability and maintains recruiting, recognition, and retention systems
  • Develops crew and management staffing plans
  • Provides performance feedback, management, and reviews
  • Develops subordinates and provides management training
  • Mentors District Managers to improve operational performance
  • Ensures execution of food safety procedures and compliance with health regulations
  • Conducts restaurant visits to improve quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Monitors food product quality and implements corrective actions
  • Protects brand and assets through policy compliance
  • Evaluates store performance and coaches management
  • Maximizes sales and profit goals versus budget and prior year
  • Monitors food and labor costs
  • Utilizes profit and loss statements for corrective action
  • Develops and trains subordinates on business operations
  • Participates in strategic planning initiatives
  • Performs other duties as assigned
