Job Duties
- Implement both short and long-term tactical and strategic plans in accordance with business goals and objectives for operations in the North American market
- Achieve budget across several different metrics including sales, net profit, guest experience, internal and external audit scores
- Provide direction to the team creating a positive working environment and supporting a high-performance culture through open communication and supportive leadership
- Report regularly to Chief Operating Officer on company performance metrics including sales, guest experience, profitability, brand compliance, and team development
- Ensure consistent follow up occurs around vital company initiatives
- Coach, mentor and address or advise on team member performance
- Serve as a business partner to franchisees ensuring their cafes perform at a high level aligned with brand standards
- Work collaboratively with cross functional department leaders to ideate and implement processes
- Participate in monthly feedback cycle and annual compensation review process
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Support new market growth and expansion
- Offer guidance on new site selection
- Drive best in-class business practices promoting operational excellence
- Oversee continuous improvement process for operational performance
- Plan and maintain equipment maintenance and replacements
- Uphold product standards for quality and merchandising
- Ensure compliance with legislations and policies
- Monitor and maintain guest services
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment
