Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • college degree preferred
  • significant restaurant operations experience
  • multi-unit restaurant management experience required
  • ability to learn and apply standard operating procedures
  • ability to learn and apply HR policies and procedures
  • experience in supervisory practices
  • interviewing and identifying high performing candidates
  • knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
  • ability to execute training and development practices
  • strong PC skills
  • ability to complete recommended training such as Serve Safe and Phase Training
  • food safety certification

Job Duties

  • Oversees management of daily operations of a district of 6 restaurants and manages a District Manager overseeing 6-7 restaurants
  • grows sales and profits by improving customer satisfaction and human resource management objectives
  • mentors employees and grows talent within the organization
  • ensures objectives are achieved while operating within company guidelines and ethical business practices
  • creates and maintains a 'Delight Every Customer' environment
  • ensures proper staffing levels and diversity of management workforce
  • monitors crew and management labor availability
  • maintains system for recruiting, recognition, and retention of restaurant management
  • develops staffing plans to maintain management stability
  • executes quality, timely performance feedback, performance management, and reviews
  • develops subordinates for promotion opportunities and provides training using established systems
  • mentors District Managers to improve operational performance
  • ensures all food safety procedures are executed as per policies and health regulations and takes corrective action
  • plans and conducts restaurant visits to ensure improvement of quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • monitors and maintains brand protection and company asset compliance
  • maximizes sales goals versus budget and prior year by executing marketing programs and creating local marketing plans
  • manages new product rollouts and procedures
  • maximizes profit goals by reviewing budgets and monitoring food and labor costs
  • utilizes knowledge of operations, budgeting, and accounting to maximize sales growth and profitability
  • develops subordinates to understand business and identify and correct areas of opportunity
  • participates in strategic planning initiatives
  • performs other assigned duties as required
