Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven multi-unit restaurant management experience
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to apply standard operating procedures
- Knowledge of HR policies
- Competency in P&L analysis and corrective measures
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Skilled in interviewing high-performing candidates
- Understanding of employment laws
- Training execution skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to complete food safety and other required training
- Food Safety Certification
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and grab
- Ability to work in loud environments
- Ability to see, hear, talk, smell, and taste
- Ability to wear a headset
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to travel within and outside local area (about 10%)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- College degree preferred
- Significant restaurant operations experience
- Multi-unit restaurant management experience
- Ability to learn and apply company standard operating procedures
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Experience in supervisory roles
- Skills in interviewing and identifying high-performing candidates
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Skill in training and development execution
- Strong PC skills
- Ability to complete training programs such as Serve Safe and Phase Training
- Food safety certification
Job Duties
- Ensure proper staffing levels and diversity of management workforce
- Monitor crew and management labor availability
- Maintain recruiting, recognition, and retention systems for restaurant management
- Develop staffing plans for crew and management stability
- Execute quality, timely performance feedback and management reviews
- Develop subordinates for contribution maximization and promotion opportunities
- Provide restaurant management training and development
- Mentor District Managers to improve operational performance
- Ensure food safety procedure adherence and take corrective action
- Conduct working restaurant visits to improve quality, service, and cleanliness
- Monitor food product quality and customer satisfaction standards
- Enforce company policy compliance and protect brand assets
- Evaluate store performance and coach managers
- Maximize sales goals versus budget and prior year data
- Monitor and manage local marketing program execution
- Oversee new product rollout and procedure compliance
- Maximize profit goals and review budgets regularly
- Track food and labor costs using profit/loss statements and implement corrections
- Use knowledge of operations, budgeting, accounting to ensure profitability
- Develop subordinates to understand business operations and correct opportunities
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives
- Perform additional assigned duties as required
